TIME OF DAY
Time of day
When we were filming our OTS, our main thoughts were to film in a dark, abandoned, sinister, quiet place which has that scary kind of atmosphere feeling to it. This is why we began filming at a abandoned house; but we soon realised that due to our plan and storyboard that we didn't really need to use the abandoned house as it wouldn't fit into sequence and would create confusion for the audience.
Then we decide to film at the docks, as this still creates that sinister, quiet place for a great killing scene. It also seems to be able to create a lonely atmosphere which therefore makes for suspense, once the innocent pedestrian is walking down the path.
We also did film outside behind a abandoned cinema ,which was chase scene of the killer and second victim. During the chase scene we wanted to make a dramatic, tense scene and at the time of day it was actually very bright which made it a perfect time to film; it linked in with the fact that we wanted to show a realistic scene which would make the audience believe that anything could suddenly happen at any time of day.
